Rock v-weirs, gravel riffles and constructed terraces were used to restore ±2250 linear feet of the East Branch, Rocky River within Allardale Park, owned by the Medina County Park District. The stream restoration addressed bank erosion and gave the stream better access to its floodplain. Stream banks and nineteen constructed terraces were planted and seeded with native shrubs, grasses and forbs.
