The City of Blue Ash developed Summit Park with funding support from a Section 319 grant. Envirotech collaborated with the City’s public works department, landscape architect and Eco-Design to maximize the ecological services to be provided by the new park and to address habitat impairments from the onsite dog park. The Envirotech nursery supplied 4,800 shrubs for the stream corridor and floodplain restoration; 4,200 upland plants for restoration of park slopes and adjacent areas; and 27,770 native aquatic plants for restoration of ponds and aquatic edges.
